Understand Your Home Organization

What is my Home Organization?

You only need one account in SportLynx. With this one account, you can associate with, get access to, and participate in multiple organizations. For example, you may be a coach in a club, and at the same time, a referee for a league. You would have one account, and be able to do all your tasks for each role in SportLynx for those organizations.

When you join SportLynx for the first time, you will have done so through one organization or another, through some sort of registration (Player Registration, Referee Registration, Team Official Registration, etc.) or through an invitation to a role in an organization (for example the Board, member). This organization will automatically become your Home Organization.

You can also change the organization that loads by default when you log in. You will typically want to set your Home Organization to the one that you are most involved in.

Although you can participate in and associate with multiple organizations with your one account, you can only have the data from one organization viewable at a time. When you log in, the account that is set as your Home Organization is loaded by default. If you have other organizations you belong to and you want to see their information, you can switch to view it at any time.
