Change a Referee Assignment

You can easily change the referee assigned to a game position. This is possible for games in the past and in the future. However, if a referee has already been paid for that game, you won't be able to change them.

There are two ways to change a game referee. This article shows you how to change one position on a game. If you want to manage all positions on a game in one place, click here to learn how.

Follow the instructions below to change an assignment for a single position on a game:

Step 1: Go to the game assignments screen

Step 2: Find the game you want to change

Step 3: Right-click on the position you want to change. A context menu will appear.

Step 4: Click "Change Center Referee" or "Change Assistant Referee 1" or "Change Assistant Referee 2", depending on which position you right-clicked on. A dialog box will appear with options to change the referee for that position.

Step 5: You have several options for how to change the referee position:

1. You can select "None" to remove the referee without replacing them with another
2. You can select another referee that has requested the position (they will all be listed)
3. You can select any referee you want by clicking on "Assign someone else"

You can also email one of the referees by clicking the "User Info" card icon and clicking the email option in the resulting dialog.

Step 6: Once you've made your selection, click the Save button, and the position will be changed.
