Below are instructions for Gmail and Outlook. Let us know if you have a different provider and need help.
Gmail
Here's how to add an email address to your Gmail contacts.
- Open a message from the sender you want to save as a contact in Gmail.
- Hover your cursor over the sender's name at the top of the email.
- Click Add to Contacts on the pop-up pane.
- That's it!
Outlook
- Open the message so that the person's name is shown in one of these lines: From:, To:, Cc:, or Bcc:.
- Right-click the appropriate name, choose Add to Outlook Contacts.
- In the window that opens, click Save & Close
Outlook Web
- Open the message so that the person's name is shown in one of these lines: From:, To:, Cc:, or Bcc:.
- Click the appropriate name to open the contact box
- Click the Contact tab
- Click Add to contacts
- That's it, you're done!
Yahoo
- From Yahoo Mail, select the Contacts icon
- Select Add a new contact
- Enter the sender’s information, especially the sender email address
- Select Save
