Add a Competition

Follow these steps to add a competition to a program.

Step 1: Login to your Sportlynx account, and from the dashboard, click on your organization's drop-down menu. 

Step 2: From the drop-down list, click on the program you want to add the competition to.

Step 3: Scroll down to Competitions & Games. Click on Competitions.  

If you already have some competitions, you'll see a list of already added competitions.

Step 4: Click on Edit on the right. 

Step 5: Click on New Competition to add a new competition. 

Step 6: Enter the detail of the new competition. 

• Name: Choose the appropriate name of your competition. 
• Season: Select the season you want the competition to take place in. If you don't see the season you want, you will need to create it first.
• Add Division: Check it to add all available divisions to your competition. Keep it unchecked if you want to add particular divisions manually. 
• Add Teams: Check it to add all available teams to your competition. Keep it unchecked if you want to add particular teams manually. 

Step 7: Click the OK button. 

Step 8: The new competition will appear on the list and is ready to be saved.

Step 9: Be sure to click the Save button on the right. 

It will show the message "Competition Created Successfully. 

Now, your competition is ready to be set up.
