Add Map Location Details to Facility (Field)

On the map, you can highlight the location of the facility on a site by drawing different shapes like circles and rectangles on them, set pins, or polygonal shapes, as shown below:

How to add a Map Location Details to Facility (Field):

Step 1: Login to your Sportlynx account, and from the dashboard, click on your organization's drop-down menu. 

Step 2: From the drop-down list, click on "Sites & Facilities."

Step 3: In the search field on the top of your screen, enter the name of the site for which you want to add a map location for a particular facility. Let's assume, you want to add a map location for Harrington Park.

Step 4: Click on the search icon adjacent to the search box. 

Step 5: The searched site will appear on your screen.  Click on the name of the site. 

Step 6: Now click on "Facilities" in the left bar. 

Step 7: Click on the facility name, "Swan Court Playground" in our example. 

Step 8: Click on "Location" on the left bar. 

Step 9: You will see the map for the facility on your screen as shown below:

Step 10: Click "Edit" to make changes on the map. 

Here are the things you can do on the facility's map:

 Set Center: You can set the center of the entire map to help people easily locate the facility.  When the map for this facility is shown to people, it will load with the map location set as it is when you click "Set Center".

Toggle Full Screen: You can toggle to the full screen for a better and closer view of the facility. Click the expand box to make the map full screen.

Draw a Rectangle: Draw a rectangular shape around a location:

• Click the rectangle shape to select it.
• Click on the map to start your shape. NOTE: Don't hold the mouse down, click and let go.

• Now move your mouse to create the rectangular shape, and click again where you want it to stop.

Draw a Circle: Highlight the location using a circle.

Draw a Polygon (irregular shape): Using this tool, you can draw a random shape on the map or outline the location of the facility. 

Clear Map: You can clear the map for the facility if you don't want any custom shapes on the map. 

Satellite View: You can have a satellite view of the facility's location by click on "Satellite."

Zoom In and Out: You can zoom your view in and out to situate the map the way you want it to default to when people see the map for this facility.

Press CTRL key and scroll forward to zoom in the map and scroll backward to zoom out in the map.
