Change Player Information on Your Roster – SportLynx LLC

Note! This article only applies if your organization is not registering players in SportLynx. In this case, you will add the players to your team roster.

If your organization IS registering players in SportLynx, you won't be able to add players to your roster since they will be added automatically when players register and administrators add them to your team.

Adding players to your roster is an important step in managing your team because it will allow SportLynx to autopopulate the game cards for your games. Keeping their information is equally important.

Follow these steps to change information about players on your roster:

Step 1: Log into SportLynx

Step 2: Go to your team (click the team name in the top menu). When the team module loads it will start you in the Roster.

Step 3: Scroll down to the section Players

Step 4: Each player has a little edit icon in the top right corner of their "card". Click the edit icon.

Step 5: The player's information will be displayed in a dialog box. Change whatever information you need to update.

Only first name, last name, and shirt number are required. However, birthdate and Organization Id (for example their GotSoccer Id) will make the game card information be more complete.

Step 6: Click "Ok"

That's it!

You can also add or remove players.
